Instructions:
1. Steep Orchard Chai in boiling water or if you have a kettle with temperature control heat water to 212˚F, add hot water to your tea pot or your cup and lower in your steeper basket. Steep for 2-3 minutes or longer for desired taste. The longer you steep Chai the more aroma, spice and apple you’ll get in your finished beverage.
2. While the tea is steeping slice your lemon. If you would like to just use the rind you can use a channel knife if you have one to get a nice curled lemon twist or you can slice the rind off with a regular paring knife.
3. Fill your favourite mug with the liqueurs. At this time, you can decide if you’d like to enjoy it hot or cold. If cold add ice to your liqueur mixture and nestle in your lemon twist or slice among the ice.
4. When the tea is done steeping poor into your mug or shake on ice. If you are enjoying your spiked chai on ice, you can use a martini shaker if you have one on hand or you can use two cups together to create the same effect. Serve and enjoy!
